Sandra McIver, designer extraordinaire

Sandra McIver knit Swirlknit, Swirl! Uniquely Flattering, One Piece, One Seam Swirl Jackets

Dear Knitters,

Sandra McIver, Mendocino's designer extraordinaire, is stunning the knitting world with "knit, Swirl!", her premier book.

"knit, Swirl!" certainly sets the new high standard for knitting books. Sandra is active in our knitting community and Mendocino Yarn Shop is fortunate to be her local yarn shop.

We have kits for Sandra's designs with the very highest quality yarns. Right now I am knitting Sandra's "Mink in Motion" in mink/cashmere with luscious results! I recommend that you enjoy Sandra's beautiful photo show at www.knitswirl.com

About Manos del Uruguay

Manos del Uruguay is a non-profit organization, owned and run by rural women, that has worked for over 40 years to provide economic opportunity as well as beautiful handspun (Wool Clasica) and hand-dyed yarns. Manos is a member of the International Fair Trade Organization. Over 400 women spin, dye and prepare the yarn for local use and export. The lable on your yarn is signed by the co-op member who dyed it. The colors are rich and the kettle dying results in subtly striated colors.
